This version protects the platform, defines responsibilities of both hosts and guests, and ensures compliance with Indian regulations such as the Consumer Protection (E- Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the IT Act, 2000.

Entity Name: GRAM STAY, a company registered under the Companies Act, 2013, having its principal office at 7, Gram Kajlas, Intkhedi chaap panchayat, khajuri sadak,Bhopal (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Platform”).
By accessing or using our website/mobile app or services, you (“User”, “Guest” or “Host”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
- Definitions
● Platform: Website/mobile app owned by the Gram stay
● Host: Individual or entity listing accommodation
● Guest: Individual or entity booking accommodation
● Listing: The homestay property displayed on the platform
● Booking: Confirmed transaction for property use by a guest - Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts under Indian law. - Scope of Services
We act solely as an online marketplace to connect Hosts and Guests for short-term accommodation. We do not own, manage, or
control any of the listed properties. - Host Responsibilities
By listing on our platform, a Host agrees to:
● Provide accurate information about the property
● Maintain property hygiene, safety, and compliance with local laws
● Be available (or have someone available) to facilitate guest check-in
● Accept and honor bookings unless there is a valid reason to cancel
● Provide legally required documents such as ID and property proof for verification - Guest Responsibilities
By booking a property, a Guest agrees to:
● Use the property respectfully and lawfully
● Not damage or steal property
● Comply with check-in/check-out times
● Abide by local laws, society rules, and safety codes
● Share valid identification and contact details when required - Booking & Payments
● All bookings are subject to confirmation and availability.
● Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways.
● Hosts receive their payment post guest check-in, minus service fees.
● Guests agree to pay in full, including any applicable taxes and fees. - Cancellation & Refunds
Refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy for full details. Refund eligibility depends on cancellation timelines and whether the cancellation was guest- or host-initiated. - Liability Disclaimer
● We do not guarantee the condition, legality, or suitability of any listed property.
● We are not liable for any loss, injury, theft, or damages during the guest’s stay.
● Disputes between hosts and guests shall be resolved with minimal intervention from the platform, unless escalation is necessary - Content & Conduct
Users shall not:
● Post false, misleading, or illegal content
● Use the platform to harass, defraud, or exploit others
● Upload viruses or attempt to breach platform security - Intellectual Property
All logos, brand names, trademarks, text, and content on the platform belong to GRAM STAY and may not be used
without prior written permission. - Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate user accounts for:
● Repeated cancellations (hosts)
● Misuse or misconduct
● Violation of law or platform policies
● Fraudulent listings or bookings - Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be resolved through:
1. Amicable negotiation
2. Arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Venue: Bhopal, India. Language: English. - Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts in Bhopal shall have exclusive jurisdiction. - Grievance Redressal
